Mostra FIRE!! ends with 62,600 spectators and gender parity

Mostra FIRE!! Ended yesterday, with one of the most special editions in digital format on the Filmin platform, in a year that commemorated the 25th anniversary of the first LGBTI + film festival in Spain created by Casal Lambda in 1995.

This digital edition called FIRE!! AT HOME has been watched throughout the Spanish territory and has managed to gather more than 62,600 viewers who have enjoyed some of the 43 titles offered by the festival in categories such as: Feature films; Documentaries; Short films; A tribute to the Argentine director Marco Berger; A best of the recent years; or the sections dedicated to transsexuality and Asian cinema. 43 films, most of them unscreened in our country. In the professional section FIRE!! PRO, the public was also able to enjoy 9 meetings with directors and a round table on “Production, distribution and exhibition of LGBT cinema.”

For FIRE!! it is an honor to be able to highlight the gender parity of the awards, which three women and three men among the awarded directors, which shows that every day we have more and better women directors on topics related to affective and sexual diversity.
