An autobiographical drama starring a girl who refuses to accept her mother’s gender transition process.
The debut of actress Malou Reymann, based on her traumatic childhood, brings to the fore the other side of the transition process: that of relatives facing symbolic mourning for their loved one and welcoming a new person at the same time. Narrated from the unusual perspective of a girl, the film shows a hopeful testimony about overcoming transphobia within the family.
