Bouchra, a 35-year-old Moroccan lesbian filmmaker based in New York, is paralyzed by the fear of the blank page. A phone call with her mother, a cardiologist living in Casablanca, brings back many memories. The affectionate but complex conversation between the two initiates a constructive change and leads them to embark on a journey through family ties, the mother-daughter relationship and the emotions triggered by love. A wonderful intergenerational portrait, with brilliant and very original animation, where cultural and vital differences are transformed into a space for listening and reconstruction.
