Bouchra

Bouchra, a 35-year-old lesbian Moroccan filmmaker based in New York, is paralyzed by the fear of the blank page. A phone call with her mother, a cardiologist based in Casablanca, brings up many memories between them. The affectionate but complex conversation between the two initiates a constructive change and leads them to embark on a journey through family ties, the mother-daughter relationship and the emotions triggered by love.
