You can’t miss the inauguration of FIRE!! 2026 with the wonderful animated film Bouchra, because before that you can enjoy the I Am Love performance by our much-loved Lebanese director, photographer and performer Hadi Moussally, characterized by his famous drag alter ego, Salma Zahore! A declaration of intent to vindicate the visibility and dynamism of the LGBTIQ+ collective in Arab countries, increasingly present in our audiovisual productions, and especially this year at FIRE!! with the section “The Gaze of” dedicated to Arab and Persian queer cinema.
