Saad, a young undocumented Moroccan immigrant, and Reza, his Iranian lover, dream of a comfortable and peaceful life in the United States. However, from the moment they arrive in Montreal, a race against time begins. Saad must do everything he can to save Reza, who is at risk of being deported to Iran and possibly executed. Through a desperate plan, Saad manages to seduce an influential spokesperson for the Canadian Department of Immigration. A new world of possibilities opens up before him, but which will he choose? Acclaimed director Léa Pool and renowned screenwriter Michel Marc Bouchard join forces to tell this story through a theme increasingly explored in cinema: LGBTQ+ refugee immigration.
