Filmed between Utrera and Palma, this documentary is a tribute to the great Fernando Fernández Jiménez, also known as Fernando Estrella. This versatile and incomparable artist, a member of the famous band Peor Imposible along with Rossy de Palma, a unique icon of the Madrid and Majorcan Movida scene, a great activist for LGBTI rights and the soul of the famous Flexa restaurant in Palma, left an absolutely indelible mark on all who knew him. Estrella appeared in several of Pedro Almodóvar’s films, such as Law of Desire and Kika. And, true to his role as a chef, he was the one who prepared the iconic gazpacho in Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown. Directed by Pedro de Echave, Rossy de Palma’s brother, Estrella, cometa, satélite y planeta gives voice to those who accompanied him until his death in 2023, from Alberto García-Alix to Paco León, as well as Pep Noguera and Joan Bauzà —members of the group Diabéticas Aceleradas—, Pepa Charro (aka La Terremoto de Alcorcón), Lina Estrany, Alfonso Llopart and Eduardo Casanova. The group photo taken at his farewell “hospital” party, shortly before leaving this earth, serves as an almost surreal example of how much he was loved in life: Carmen Machi, Pedro Almodóvar, Pepón Nieto, Paco and María León, Eduardo Casanova, Miren Ibarguren, Bibiana Fernández, Ana Polvorosa, Alaska, Mario Vaquerizo and Asier Etxeandia, among many other friends, are all there.
