The drought of 1976. Under the relentless summer sun, Gus abandons childhood. Nature collapses, feelings intensify, the family nucleus explodes: everything breaks and fissures until the unthinkable happens. The much-desired storms sweep across the depleted countryside, taking an entire world with them. Delphine Lehericey signs an initiation story, supported by a gallery of complex characters.
