A taste of France with “Une vie rêvée” and “Eat the Night”

Two fantastic films from the French country stand out in this edition:

In Une vie rêvée, starring the brilliant Valeria Bruni-Tedeschi, we follow in the footsteps of Nicole and her son, Serge, who live a fusional love that flourishes despite the adversities of their daily lives. Nicole sees a glimmer of hope as she approaches the enigmatic Norah, who runs a café on the ground floor of her building…

In Eat the Night, we see how Pablo, a petty drug dealer, and his teenage sister Apolline have forged an unbreakable bond through their shared obsession with the online video game Darknoon. When Pablo falls in love with the mysterious Night, he ends up involved in his relationship and leaves his sister alone, who must face, without him, the imminent closure of her digital paradise.
