“Sally” [Ride, astronaut] and “Sally!” [Gearhart, activist]

Well, yes, this happens every 1000 years and it has happened: we have programmed two documentaries with the same title!!! (or almost). Sally, about Sally Ride, the first American female astronaut, and Sally! (with exclamation) about Sally Gerhart, a great lesbian and feminist activist who fought together with Harvey Milk for incipient LGBTIQ+ rights in the United States. Two very different profiles, since Sally Ride could not come out of the closet before dying of cancer, and it was her lifelong sentimental partner, Tam O’Shaughnessy, who continued to celebrate her memory.
