“Flamencos and Queers”, photographic exhibition by Alexandre Bré

During the FIRE!, you will be able to admire the exhibition Flamencos and Queers, by photographer Alexandre Bré, at the French Institute. It offers an immersion in the daily life of the Flamenco Queer group, passionate flamenco artists who have successfully expressed the many facets of their personal and social identity through a queer reading of this traditional art. The images captured by Alexandre Bré attest to the vitality and intensity of these artists, for whom each performance – dance, song or guitar – becomes an act of affirmation.
