Emma is in her early thirties, a star in the Montreal music scene and has a complicated relationship with her father and agent. She has to decide if she is willing to do whatever it takes to succeed. The possibility of an important position in a prestigious orchestra only increases her uneasiness. She must also preserve a budding romantic relationship with Naëlle, a recently separated cellist and mother of a child.
