Olivia Colman in “Jimpa” – Saturday 6th, 4pm, and Saturday 13th, 10pm

Hannah, a filmmaker, travels to Amsterdam with her husband and her non-binary teenage son, Frances. Upon reuniting with Jim, her father, who is gay, politically engaged, HIV-positive and affectionately nicknamed “Jimpa”, she hopes to talk about her plans to tell her story on the big screen. However, when Jimpa’s health, a fiercely independent man, begins to deteriorate, Hannah and her sister must talk about the future… The film is inspired by Hyde’s own relationship with her late gay father and her non-binary son – and starring award-winning actors Olivia Colman and John Lithgow.
