With this title that naturally alludes to the famous tales of The Thousand and One Nights, we offer you the best of current queer cinema from countries with Arab culture —or Muslim, in the case of the Turkish film Hi Mom, It’s Me, Lou Lou—. Stories that all speak of the strength of identity and the desire for freedom, by the hand of filmmakers who use their incredible creativity to change the social view of LGBTIQ+ groups in their countries.
