SEXOFICCIÓN is a film programme for the ears. The live radio show takes its inspiration from a letter sent to Spanish agony aunt Elena Francis and broadcast during the time of the Franco dictatorship. The letter recounts how Loreto secretly follows her husband and finally discovers that he frequents “homosexual bars”. Cruising enables us to go beyond Grindr, Tinder and the new “technologies of love”. The reference points for the programme range from the radical gay film 5 Qk’s and the iconic scene in Ocaña caminando por Las Ramblas, a film directed by Ventura Pons, to the soundtrack of Noche de vino tinto by José María Nunes.
