Nathalie Adler is in Sicily, preparing for a visit by Macron and Merkel to an immigrant camp, when her son, Albert, an NGO activist, appears out of nowhere years after breaking off all contact with her. He resents that mother who abandoned him and his father when he was a child, and he also doesn’t take well to the fact that she is a lesbian. The German adviser, Ute, Nathalie’s old girlfriend, will prove to be more than just the target of Albert’s teasing and insinuations.
