One more year FIRE!! is at Girona Cinema with the cycle East of Eden, prepared in collaboration with Casa Asia. With three recent films from Asia or Oceania, we aim at showing the daily life and the issues of LGBT communities far from our realities. We will go to Thailand, where we will be able to see with the comedy Patong Girl the degree of integration of the transsexual women in this society. We will also travel to Iran to learn the difficulties of transgender people there, thanks to the magnificent Cold Breath. And we will end up in Australia with Scrum and the fantastic gay rugby players of the Sydney Convicts, who are struggling to change mentalities in the world of sports.
